Rev. John Revell was born and raised in Dallas, TX. He was brought into the Reformed tradition through Ligonier Ministries in 2015. He attended Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS from 2016-2020, and graduated with the MDIV.

 

John was ordained into the PCA in August 2020, and served as the youth & family pastor at Lakeland Presbyterian Church in Flowood, MS from 2020-2025. He also graduated with the MTh from Union School of Theology in Wales in July 2024. John came to Tampa Bay Presbyterian Church to serve as the associate pastor of youth and families in August 2025.

John and his wife, Hannah, met while attending Oklahoma State University in 2012, and married in 2015. They have been blessed with two boys and one girl: Ethan, Gideon, and Evelyn. They enjoy watching sports together, going on walks, and listening to good music while they cook and bake. John's particular hobbies include playing disc golf, reading old books, listening to classical music, and following the Dallas Stars hockey team.
